Yang Dongping was appointed as chief risk officer at the Bank of Communications in July 2007. Prior to this, he was general manager of the bank’s Hong Kong branch from September 2003 to September 2007. Yang has also served in several positions in Wuhan branch, including deputy manager of securities business department, deputy head and director of credit and loan division, senior manager of international business division, deputy general manager and general manager from May 1989 to September 2003.
