Nobuo Kuroyanagi
Kuroyanagi has over 45 years of banking experience, leading several key institutions in Japan through some major transformations and acquisitions. He was president and CEO of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) from 2005 to 2010, leading Asia’s largest bank by assets. By March of 2010, MUFG had an asset size of $2.4 trillion as of 2010 and $1.6 trillion in deposits. He was the president of Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ from 2004 to 2008 and led the efforts to integrate the group’s computer systems after the merger of Mitsubishi Bank and Bank of Tokyo in 1996.
