Stephen Bird
Previously as the CEO of Citi Asia Pacific, Stephen Bird was responsible for all the company's business lines across 17 markets in the region, including China, India, South Korea and Australia. He was previously joint CEO of Citi Asia Pacific with responsibility for North Asia and from 2006 to 2008, he was head of consumer banking in Asia Pacific. Mr. Bird joined Citi in 1998 in Singapore. Prior to Citi, he worked with GE Capital and British Steel in the United Kingdom. He is a graduate of University College Cardiff with an MBA in economics & finance.
