Sun Meiyu
Born in 1962. Sun assumed her current role as General Manager in 2009. Under her leadership, the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) began to expand its overseas network and international financial solutions business. Sun started her banking career in 1988 at ABC’s international department in the forex credit and correspondent banking business. She was then appointed head of ABC Singapore. In November 2006, she was promoted to deputy general manager of institutional banking and headed the insurance business of the bank. She was then appointed as director of Agricultural Bank of China (UK) Limited on 1 July 2011.
