Elbert Pattijn
Pattijn assumed his current role in 2008, a newly created function at DBS, to integrate the former group credit and group risk functions with a view to managing all of DBS' risks in a holistic manner. He joined the bank in October 2007 as managing director and head of specialised corporate and investment banking, responsible for DBS' activities in the region. Pattijn has more than 19 years’ experience in banking and before joining DBS, he was head of debt products origination, Asia for ING Bank. Before that, he was head of counterparty risk, country risk, risk research and modeling for ING Group in Amsterdam.
