Shyam Srinivasan
Shyam Srinivasan joined Federal Bank on 23rd September 2010 as managing director and chief executive officer. Prior to this he was the Indian head of Standard Chartered Bank’s consumer banking business, responsible for strategy, development and management of the unit. Srinivasan also served as country head of the bank’s consumer finance unit in Malaysia where he expanded revenue streams and increased profitability. In early 2001, he joined Standard Chartered Bank as head of the unsecured products business unit post the merger of Grindlays Bank with Standard Chartered Bank. Throughout the 90’s, he played a variety of roles at Citibank that enabled him to gain experience in risk, credit and treasury operations as well as sales.
