Johari Abdul Muid
Mr. Johari bin Abdul Muid has been the Chief Investment Officer (Equity) of Employees Provident Fund (EPF) since 2004. Mr. bin Abdul Muid served as the Managing Director of RHB Bank Berhad from November 14, 2011 to August 5, 2013. He has more than 27 years experience in the financial sector. He started his career as a Money Market Dealer with Asian International Merchant Bankers Berhad, where he served from 1981 to 1983. Prior to joining EPF in August 2004, he served as Chief Investment Officer of ValueCap Sdn Bhd which he joined in February 2003 to 2004. From 1983 to 1994, he served at Commerce International Merchant Bankers Berhad, working in the Treasury Division as the Head of Treasury. He served as Senior Vice President of Institutional Sales at CIMB Securities Sdn Bhd ("CIMB Securities") from 1994 to 2003, where he was responsible in setting up the Institutional Sales Team of CIMB Securities. He has been a Non Independent Non Executive Director of Rashid Hussain Berhad since December 15 2004 and RHB Capital Bhd since April 1, 2005. He serves as a Director of RHB Sakura Merchant Bankers Berhad. Mr. bin Abdul Muid served as Non Independent Non Executive Director of Rhb Capital Bhd since April 1 2005. He served as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Islamic Bank Berhad until 14 november 2011 and RHB Bank Berhad at RHB Insurance Berhad from April 1, 2005 to December 13, 2013. He served as a Director of RHB Investment Bank Bhd until January 3, 2008. He was an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountant, United Kingdom in 1997.
