Tod Burwell
During Burwell’s tenure at BAFT-IFSA, he has played an essential role in engaging regulators and policymakers to ensure appropriate treatment for trade finance under Basel III. He has helped establish the Global Trade Industry Council at BAFT-IFSA as a thought leadership voice of the trade finance industry and has been instrumental in oversight of industry committees, member outreach and retention. Prior to joining BAFT-IFSA, Burwell served as a managing director at J.P. Morgan Chase as a global head of trade operations, head of trade and logistics sales and other senior leadership roles. He was also a director of product development at Deutsche Bank previously.
