Arthur Tan currently serves as senior vice president and head of information technology operations at Banco De Oro Unibank (BDO Unibank), a post he has held since May 2008. In this position he led the bank to fortify its online and mobile banking offerings to protect customers with the implementation of 2FA for mobile and internet banking. Tan first joined BDO Unibank in 2002 as vice president for IT applications development before becoming head of IT operations in 2013. Prior to this, Tan was with Accenture as an associate partner in its technology practice, responsible for projects in communications and financial services. He graduated from the University of the Philippines with a bachelor of arts degree in economics cum laude.
