Hans Sicat
Hans Sicat has been president and CEO of the Philippine Stock Exchange since January 2011. He is also the current CEO of Securities Clearing Corporation of the Philippines and holds various positions in different business entities including Philippine Dealing System Holding Corporation, Philippine Dealing and Exchange Corporation and Philippine Depository & Trust Corporation. Sicat has 22 years of experience as an investment banker and worked with various firms such as Citigroup and Salomon Smith Barley based in New York, Hong Kong & Manila. He was involved in a wide range of capital markets, emerging markets as well as merger and acquisition transactions the Organisation for Economic Corporation & Development. He started his career at Deutsche Bank New York as an analyst and staff member of the Asset Products Department from 1985 to 1987. Sicat holds a PhD in Economics from University of Pennsylvania. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Master of Arts from the University of the Philippines.
