S.N. Goel
Mr. S.N.Goel is CEO and Managing Director at the Indian Energy Exchange Limited (IEX) – India’s premier power exchange. He is an Electrical Engineer with MBA in Finance and has 36 years of experience in power sector. Prior to this, he was Director-Marketing and Operations at PTC Limited where he worked in close association with State distribution companies and generators and was responsible for both long-term and short-term power trading agreements. He also led the company’s initiative in cross-border trade with Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal. Prior to PTC, Mr Goel had a long stint of 29 years at NTPC Limited (‘NTPC’) where he worked in different areas of power plant such as: design and engineering, operation and maintenance, commercial, business development and coal and gas sourcing.
