Anil Jaggia
Anil Jaggia is currently CIO at HDFC Bank, a post he undertook following the banks’ merger with Centurion Bank of Punjab in May 2008. Jaggia leads co-ordination councils for financial inclusion and sustainable livelihood banking, which are key initiatives of the bank. He also juggles concurrent responsibilities of managing service quality, legal, as well as administration and infrastructure. Prior to joining HDFC Bank, he was chief operating officer of Centurion Bank of Punjab for four years, eventually playing an important role in the successful merger of the banks. In the past, Jaggia spent over 18 years with Citibank in Chicago, New York, Singapore, Mumbai and Kolkata, where he was in charge of various business lines including cash management, international trade, foreign exchange, derivatives and commercial cards.
