Objectives of this Programme Selection Criteria Practitioner Activities
Objectives of this programme
The primary motivation of this recognition programme is to re-state the story of the transformation taking place in the financial services industry today through the names, faces and profiles of the selected professionals who are diligently working away on the small and large roles they play at all the different levels across the region.
The more practical goals we want to achieve from this programme are:
- To create a truly international and cross-border recognition programme for achievers whose work are essentially internal to the organisations and countries they come from
- To create a virtual community where its members can relate to each other based on their knowledge of each other's talents, ideas, achievements, areas of specialisation and aspirations for the future
- To create an inventory of credible practitioners who can respond collectively to the key global issues of the day, by providing their feedback to proposed working papers and surveys and participating in relevant dialogues with each other, as appropriate.
The Directory of Leading Practitioners contains the profiles of not just practicing bankers, but thought leaders, retired industry leaders and other ancillary influencers whose work contributes in a fundamental way to the industry. The Directory is classified by people who are making a difference in the following roles:
- Industry Stalwarts
- Chairmen, CEOs and Presidents
- Regulation
- Risk Management
- Transaction Banking
- Retail Banking
- Technology and Innovation
- Other classifications are being built in stages
